EA has confirmed that the new Need for Speed title will be revealed at E3 during their "The Download: EA 2013 Preview." During this presentation EA will showcase several of their next-generation games including Battlefield 4, a full range of EA Sports games, the future of Star Wars games, and, of course, the new Need for Speed.
But to give you a small taste prior to the event, a screenshot was uploaded to the Need for Speed Facebook page. The image shows a fancy car with the word "Pursuit" on it. Perhaps it will be along the lines of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit? I'm calling it now, the new game will be officially titled "Need for Speed: Next-gen Pursuit." Has a nice ring to it, right?
The accompanying line of text with the image reads: "Have no rules, show no mercy." Make of that what you will.
