Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom Gets a PC Version Announced

As we learned last month, Ni No Kuni 2 was announced. We knew the original was a PlayStation exclusive, but the sequel may try to shake things up a bit.

Ni No Kuni 2 is planned to release on PlayStation 4 as well as PC. In an attempt to grab a larger audience, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino tells GameSpot, "having a PC version means the game is more accessible for everyone overseas. As a fan of Western RPGs, I think our games need to be offering a similarly great experience, utilizing things like an open world, and stress-free battle systems. It should feel familiar for all gamers."

The new game still has a very prominent Studio Ghibli soul to it, even though the gameplay has been changed up a bit. But what truly made Ni No Kuni so great was the heart, not exclusively the gameplay. The release date for Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom has not officially been announced, but will be available sometime in 2017.
