Nintendo and Loot Crate team up to give you 10 Amiibo this holiday season

Like most NFC video game toys, it's fairly certain that Amiibos are going to be a hot commodity this year. On November 21st, which also happens to be the launch of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, you'll be able to pick from 12 different Amiibo, such as Mario, Pikachu, Samus, and Link.

If you don't prefer to duke it out in retail stores, you can have them delivered straight to your house thanks to Nintendo's partnership with Loot Crate. According to NintendoEverything.com, the two companies will team up for an Amiibo Loot Crate, coming this holiday season.

Amiibo figures will work across a bunch of different Nintendo titles, the first being Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Mario Kart 8. Compatibility will extend to games like Hyrule Warriors, Yoshi's Wooly World and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

Those who sign up for the subscription, which still isn't priced, will get 10 pre-selected Amiibo, which will include Mario, Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Fox and Yoshi.

Nintendo of America's Executive Vice President, Scott Moffitt, stated:

Featuring compatibility with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors this year, amiibo figures are shaping up to be one of the year’s must-have holiday items. Fans around the country already enjoy Loot Crate’s approach to delivering cool new items every month, and now they have a new and convenient way to get their hands on amiibo.

Loot Crate CEO, Chris Davis, stated:

We are honored to be working with Nintendo – a company that our team loves and respects, and that many of us grew up with. The iconic Super Smash Bros. games have brought people together for years, and we’re excited to become a part of that story in a new way through our amiibo Subscription Service.

This Amiibo Loot Crate will also have a few additional surprises, that will be revealed at a later date. If you want to sign up to be notified when it becomes available, you can head over to the Amiibo Crate home page, and enter your email.
