Nintendo offering free game with the purchase of a 3DS XL

In an effort to get even more of Nintendo's stereoscopic handhelds into people's hands, they are offering a free game when you purchase and register a Nintendo 3DS XL with the addition of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity.

While it may sound a bit pricey, those who were already considering the purchase of a 3DS, will finally have more incentive. The five titles that players will be able to choose from to receive for free are:

  • Super Mario 3D Land
  • Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask
  • Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!
  • Star Fox 64 3D
  • Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive!

Between Super Mario 3D Land, Professor Layton and Star Fox 64, you have some pretty awesome choices.
