Nintendo’s Wii U campaign asks ‘How U Will Play Next’

With Nintendo's new Wii U console set to release in just a few weeks, on November 18, Nintendo of America has stepped up their advertising campaign here in America.

Their new ad campaign, which launched yesterday, asks gamers "How U Will Play Next". It's a question that obviously plays off of the innovative touchscreen GamePad tablet controller which functions as a secondary screen for gamers to interact with when playing on the Wii U. Additionally, it serves as an alternate screen to stream gameplay from the console to the controller in lieu of a television display. The impressive controller features a front-facing camera, dual analog sticks, motion control support, and NFC technology.

The trailer, which can be seen below, looks to highlight many of these features as it shows a variety of people interacting with the Wii U. It's definitely a new way to interact with your console, but will it prove to be successful?

You can check out the first Wii U advertisement that those in the UK saw here. The Wii U is set to release in America on November 18, 2012. Nintendo expects to sell 5.5 million Wii U consoles by the end of the fiscal year on March 31, 2013.
