Square Enix confirmed that the PlayStation 4 beta for Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn will begin in North America and Europe on the same day as Japan.
The company announced earlier today that the beta on Sony's next-gen console would kick off February 22, 2014, which is when the PS4 launches in Japan. The system launches in North America on November 15 and November 29 in Europe.
Since Japan will receive the PS4 latest, the delayed beta launch should ensure that everyone can jump into the massively multiplayer online role-playing game simultaneously.
We also learned today that Western fans playing on PS3 can migrate to the PS4 version for free.
Final Fantasy 14 released globally for PC and PS3 on August 27.
