Notch talks about how death is handled in his new game

If you're like me, you're a huge Minecraft fan and eagerly awaiting details on Notch's next game.  I stay glued to Marcus 'Notch' Persson's Twitter account, @notch, just waiting for him to talk about what the game is going to be like.  We already know that it is going to be a space game, and now we know how death is handled now… sort of.  In a couple of tweets a few hours ago, he commented on dying, respawning, quantum immortality, and living on in a parallel universe.

Well there you go; when you die, you will respawn in a parallel universe that's exactly the same as the other universe, except for the fact that you never died.  So then I guess you won't be dropping any items you might have on you?  Interesting take on the whole death thing.  I wonder if your character will be aware that he died or not.  Stay tuned for more updates.
