EVE Online developer CCP games recently announced that it will bring its VR shooter, Gunjack, to PC with Oculus Rift support when the headset launches on March 28.
Gunjack first released for Samsung Gear VR, and will also be compatible with HTC’s Vive later this year. For its PC launch, Gunjack will up the ante with improved visuals and audio designed to take full advantage of all that added hardware horsepower.
“We’re honored by the reception Gunjack has had so far and excited to bring the game to new platforms,” Executive Producer Jean-Charles Gaudechon told Eurogamer. “Our goal is to push the boundaries when it comes to VR and immersion, and we really want to bring this experience to as many players as possible.”
Gunjack is essentially a rail shooter set in the EVE universe. Same space, same ships, more shooting. Have a look for yourself:
