Olliolli will be making the official jump from PlayStation and PC to the 3DS and Wii U next week, but it will be making the jump with some major news!
The skating game will be cross-buy between both Nintendo consoles, meaning if you buy it on the 3DS you automatically have it on the Wii U and vice-versa.
The developers of OlliOlli, Roll7, gave Curve Digital the rights to develop the game as a port for the Wii U and 3DS while the main studio worked on OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood. This is the first time that a game will be available globally for the Wii U and 3DS — typically the cross buy feature is locked to specific regions.
Nintendo is getting with it.
OlliOlli will be $9.99 for either system you purchase it for.
