One month from release and Batman: Return to Arkham gets delayed until further notice

It is in need of more polish

One month before launch and WB Games decides to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham until further notice, no new release window has been revealed.

Yesterday, WB Games announced via their official forums that Batman: Return to Arkham would not be releasing on its previously announced date which was July 26th 2016. Maybe WB Games has learnt a thing or two about releasing and publishing unfinished games with the mess that Batman: Arkham Knight was on PC where they had to suspend further sales of the game for a few months, even the re-release of Batman: Arkham Knight was broken. So hopefully everyone involved has learnt a valuable lesson here, that gamers don't really enjoy buying unplayable games.

In WB Game's announcement they didn't offer a new release date, they simply stated that they have no new release date and that " the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans" which hopefully means that the HD remasters of Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City contained within Return to Arkham won't be huge disappointments for everyone involved.

"After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience.  We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready.   We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans.  "

While waiting for WB Games and Virtuous Games to finish polishing and tinkering with Batman: Return to Arkham take a look at these screenshots from Return to Arkham compared with the old games, the HD is real.
