Oooohhhh! Kindle Fire said the iPad ain’t had no nipples!

With the Kindle Fire, Amazon took the mobile tablet world by storm, offering consumers a good product for a low price. It was a really nice alternative to someone that wanted a tablet to play games, read books, watch movies and TV shows on, but didn't necessarily have the money for an iPad. Then Amazon went on to provide a 7" 1280 x 800 Kindle Fire HD and and 8.9" Kindle Fire HD, which is Amazon's most expensive tablet at $269, unless you go for the 4G LTE Wireless option for $399.

Now, sources are indicating that Amazon is planning to ship three new Kind Fire tablets by the end of the year.

The regular Kindle Fire has a 1024 x 600 resolution for $159, but an updated 7-inch Kindle Fire will supposedly feature a 1200 x 800 resolution; that would bring the resolution up to that of the Kindle Fire HD, which normally goes for $199. Meanwhile, a new version of the Kindle Fire HD will bring the resolution up to 1920 x 1200. If you really want an impressive display, a new 8.9-inch Kindle Fire will sport a 2560 x 1600 pixel screen, which is better than the Retina display of the iPad.

There were no prices mentioned, but one can assume Amazon will try to keep the new Kindle Fire tablets at the same prices they're currently at. The new Kindle Fire tablets may launch as soon as September.
