When Sony revealed that they would be holding the PlayStation Meeting on September 7th, 2016, fans geared up for the announcement of the PlayStation 4 Slim and PlayStation 4 Neo. It appears as though we might be getting more than just those two announcements on the way.
According to a sharp-eyed industry analyst, the PS4 and PS Vita have both been removed from the Sony China site. This removal occured around the same time a press release announced the reveal of a "new PlayStation 4."

According to the press release, the PlayStation Asia division of Sony will be holding an event on September 8th, to announce the price of and release date of the new PS4. Essentially, this will be the September 7th, PlayStation Meeting for Asia.
The removal of the original PS4 and Vita can mean a number of things… The new iteration of the PS4 could replace the original in stores. The Vita could have been discontinued (it was not very successful) or there could be a new handheld on the horizon.
