Orion: Dino Beatdown – Jurassic Edition announced, free for original Dino Beatdown players

Developer Spiral Game Studios has announced its second project, Orion: Dino Beatdown – Jurassic Edition. The game follows in the footsteps of the original Dino Beatdown but includes a number of enhancements and improvements.

If you dig employing futuristic weaponry to blast dinosaurs' faces off, check out the trailer for Dino Beatdown – Jurassic Edition below. If you need a little push, then maybe you'd be interested to know that your characters can wear cowboy hats (and pirate hats).

In addition to the trailer, you can also check out some new screens in our gallery. Dino Beatdown – Jurassic Edition certainly looks quite absurd, which isn't exactly a bad thing.

As a means of apologizing to individuals who played the first Dino Beatdown, which was on the receiving end of some poor critical reception, owners of that game will receive this title absolutely free.

Dino Beatdown – Jurassic Edition is due out sometime in Q1 2013.
