Two years ago, developer Red Barrels released their survival horror game, Outlast. The game puts players in the shoes of Miles Upshur, a journalist who, thanks to an anonymous tip, goes to explore the mysterious Mount Massive Asylum — it's pretty good for a modern survival horror game. There are plenty of jump scares that keep you coming back for more, heck, just watch us playing the video (there are some stone faced people in this office).
It looks like Red Barrels is gearing up to reveal some new DLC or a follow-up to Outlast. It isn't clear exactly which of the two we will be hearing about, but we do know Outlast 2 is in development. According Red Barrels co-founder Philippe Morin, the developers have been working on Outlast 2 for a while.
