Path of Exile made a hefty sum over Thanksgiving weekend

If you're not paying attention to Path of Exile, maybe you should be.

Grinding Gear Games revealed that it sold nearly 5,000 supporter packs during Thanksgiving weekend alone. These bundles help fund development of the free-to-play action-RPG and vary from $50 to $900 (whoa), which means Grinding Gear at least made $250,000 in that time.

As we reported yesterday, Path of Exile has surpassed 4 million registered accounts and sees more than 250,000 users each day. It launched on Steam for PC in late October. It was in open beta since January.
