PC Specs for Evolve’s Big Alpha Revealed

The Evolve Big Alpha is coming and it's coming soon. If you don't have an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 to play it on, you'll need to know what specs your computer needs to have before you get in on it.

Evolve's Alpha begins on October 30th for Xbox One players and on the 31st for both PS4 and PC players, but only a limited amount of PS4 and PC players will be allowed in on the mix.

The developers do note that if you’re using a lower-end PC or value frame-rates over quality — turn down the settings and turn off anti-aliasing to get extra frames.

Minimum Specs:

• Intel Pentium D 3GHz or higher
• AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 6400 2.4 GHz or higher

RAM:

• 4GB

GPU:

• AMD Radeon 5770 or higher
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or higher

HDD:

• 15GB Install

OS:

• Windows 7 64-bit

Recommended Specs:

CPU:

• Intel Core i7 920 2.67GHz or higher
• AMD A8-3870 3GHz or higher

RAM:

• 6GB RAM

GPU:

• AMD Radeon R9 280 or higher
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or higher

HDD:

• 15GB Install

OS:

• Windows 7 64-bit
