Jump Festa may be an event centered around anime and manga, but that didn't stop Square Enix from showing off a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV (with awesome gameplay) or Bandai Namco from showing off Digimon Story: Cyber Slueth.
There is one game with a pretty big following that was missing from the event though, which is a surprise considering we know it exists.
Atlus' Persona 5 was the 'Last Guardian' of the event — meaning it didn't make an appearance. We know that we will be seeing the game release for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 sometime in 2015, but the developers didn't so much as show off a new trailer. Instead, producer Katsura Hashino took a Japanese video game magazine to share this: “After the New Year, we’d like to reveal content with proper timing,” said Hashino.
'Proper timing' can mean a lot of things, it could mean a week before release or the Persona Super Live concert on February 5th, 2015.
