Peter Serafinowicz voice acts a Dark Souls 2 character because he loves Dark Souls

What’s a great modern game without great voice acting? Just because Dark Souls II is going to be dark and difficult as s@#$, doesn’t mean it the voice acting won’t be suburb. Peter Serafinowicz, the voice of Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, will be voicing the character known as Mild-mannered Pate in Dark Souls II.

You may recognize Peter Serafinowicz form a slew of British and American television shows and movies such as Shaun of the Dead, Parks and Recreation, South Park, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Dark Souls II won’t be his first rodeo as far as video games as concerned. He’s voiced characters in Star Wars: Battlefront II and Lego City Undercover.

What’s the big deal you ask? How about the fact that when Peter was asked what he thought of Dark Souls, he replied with, “Dark Souls is the most engrossing game I’ve ever played. For me, it’s the best game of all time.” Well said Peter, well said. I’ll keep my eyes out for Pate in game.
