Phil Spencer always does a great job representing the Xbox brand on social media, especially when it comes to the relentless bombardment of Backwards Compatibility questions he gets. This time Spencer was responding to a question about the Xbox team working on backwards compatibility games over the weekend, and the short answer is, no, they don't work weekends. Spencer did drop one little vague hint about this upcoming week's backwards compatibility releases, and it sounds like we may have something to look forward to in the not-too-distant future.
Here's the tweet:
Spencer has been adamant about his desire to see Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 get the backwards compatibility treatment, but it's already been said that the game won't be getting support at least this month, even by Spencer himself. Clearly, that hasn't stopped the Xbox faithful from asking, as Black Ops 2 is currently the most requested game to get Backwards Compatibility support, and has been for some time.
Sorry guys, but the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 watch is still on-going.
