While the majority of us are tired of all remakes and ports from last-gen to current-gen, I'm sure there's at least one or two games only available on the Xbox 360 that you'd love to be able to play on Xbox One. For Xbox boss Phil Spencer, there's lots of last-generation games he wants on Microsoft's new console.
"Lots of 360 games I'd like to bring to XB1," Spencer said in response to a fan asking about the possibility of Fable Anniversary being released for Xbox One. Of course, sometimes these hopes and dreams are just that.
"Only so much time and want to focus on making new games. Not easy tradeoffs," he added.
As you're probably well aware, the Xbox One does not currently support backwards compatibility rendering your entire collection of Xbox 360 games useless if you no longer have the older system. However, Microsoft said back in September 2013 that the Xbox One is technically capable of delivering a game-streaming service that could allow last-gen games to be played on the Xbox One, similar to what Sony has done with PlayStation Now.
Interestingly, despite the complaints about all the remakes, backwards compatibility with the Xbox 360 remains one of the top-requested features on the Xbox Feedback website. While a streaming service isn't exactly that, it is a viable alternative.
