Pikmin 3 is getting DLC, the first of which will arrive on the Nintendo Wii U eShop later today.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced during today's Nintendo Direct taht the first DLC, the Collect Treasure Pack, will be available later today, with a second round available at a later date. The DLC brings new rankings and global leaderboards.
Most importantly is new missions for Mission Mode. Players can pay $1.99 for a set of three new stages. One additional stage will be given out for free with an update of Pikmin 3 that's happening today.
