Frontier Developments has announced that their upcoming modern roller coaster sim, Planet Coaster is now available for pre-order on Steam with a full release coming on November 17th, 2016. There are two pre-order bundles that players can choose from. The standard bundle comes at a 10% pre-order discount and costs $40.49 (down from $44.99) while the "Thrillseeker Edition" comes with the game's soundtrack, a digital sketchbook, a special in-game hat, and T-shirt and access to the game's Beta which will take place in early November. The Thrillseeker Edition does not come with the 10% pre-order discount but retails at $44.99.
The pricing does seem a bit odd considering it's only $4.50 more to get beta access along with the other extras, so it seems as though Frontier Developments is hoping to get as many players as possible to stress test the game before it launches.
Planet Coaster has been running its Alpha 3 phase since last week and has had 3,083 player-created items uploaded to the game's Steam Workshop. If you're interested, you can check out what players have been making by heading over here.
