PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is still tearing up the gaming market. Last time we updated, their last milestone was having 2 million concurrent players at one time on Steam. Today, that number is 2,356,023. As impressive as that is, that isn't even the topic of this article.
PUBG has sold over 17 million copies worldwide. The game is still only on PC as well, meaning primary console players have yet to even get their hands on it. The release date for the Xbox One version is still up in the air, but that hasn't stopped them from teasing it in a recent livestream. To partner this huge number of copies sold, we found a graph showing global distribution via ResetEra forums.
Next week, climbing and vaulting are coming to the test servers, which is planned to be quite the game changer. Along with this update comes a new ballistic overhaul, changes in driving, and more optimization for client and servers.
Prepare to experience PUBG on a whole new level! Literally. Vaulting & climbing is coming to test servers next week https://t.co/XyJx5zBGX7
