While Microsoft has been eager to tout its big plans for E3, Sony has been a little more reserved. That's not to say they don't have some big plans of their own. Speaking to GameSpot, PlayStation Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida teased that Sony's E3 press briefing will be "very, very exciting."
"Some of the things that we are preparing for E3 are very, very exciting," he offered without going into any detail. Part of the reason for Sony's quietness on the subject is that the company is still in process of planning its conference, which is expected to be held on Monday, June 9.
On the flipside, Microsoft has been a little more open about its plans, promising a focus on games including more Halo news. Earlier this week, Microsoft's new head of Xbox Phil Spencer emphasized the company "needs to do more" when it comes to the Xbox One. A strong showing at E3 with a ton of big games would certainly be a good start.
