PlayStation-exclusive Batman: Arkham Knight DLC revealed

Custom skins and bonus Scarecrow Nightmare Missions available for PlayStation only

An awesome Batman: Arkham Knight-branded PlayStation 4 bundle isn't the only exciting news PlayStation fans have had today. Also revealed today was new DLC for the game exclusive to PlayStation platforms — timed, of course.

Detailed by Amazon, the PlayStation versions of Batman: Arkham Knight will come with exclusive custom Batman and Batmobile skins.

"Fight crime in the futuristic Justice League 3000 Batman skin or go retro the Batman Classic TV Series Batman and Batmobile skins."

Additionally, the Scarecrow Nightmare Missions — previously revealed, but never detailed — will also be exclusive to PlayStation. And for the first time, we know what it'll be about.

"As Gotham City falls victim to Scarecrow's fear toxin, tear through the city in the all-new Batmobile and face off against a towering vision of Scarecrow and his undead army."

While the details don't explicitly say it, a promotional image revealed that the content will be a timed exclusive until at least fall 2015. At that point, I assume it'll become available on Xbox and PC — for a price.

On the bright side, pre-ordering Batman: Arkham Knight will unlock the Harley Quinn 'Story Pack' DLC, a prequel that leads up to the events in the main game. The Harley Quinn Story Pack is actually included as part of a pre-order bonus for Arkham Knight regardless of what version you choose.

Batman: Arkham Knight was recently delayed across all systems, and is now expected to release on June 23rd.
