For the second annual PlayStation Experience, Sony will be moving its party from Sin City to the City by the Bay (Las Vegas to San Francisco).
Sony today detailed its plans for PlayStation Experience 2015, an event that celebrates the PlayStation brand and its community of gamers. The two-day event will take place this December 5th and 6th. Those in attendance will once again be treated to hands-on time with 2015 and 2016's biggest games, and a front-row seat at some "major PlayStation announcements" and surprises. Last year, developers/publishers in attendance included Square Enix, Activision, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Naughty Dog and more.
Sony is also making this year's event a bit more affordable, offering an early bird discounted rate of $60 for the full two-day pass for those who register before September 20th. After that date, the regulard two-day tickets will jump to $75, with one-day passes selling for $45 (Saturday only) and $40 (Sunday only).
In addition to all the announcements and hands-on time with games, PlayStation Experience will also be host to the Capcom Cup on Sunday, December 6th. "As the final culmination of the 2015 Capcom Pro Tour, the official Street Fighter eSports league, the Capcom Cup will feature 32 of the world’s best players competing for the title of “Street Fighter World Champion” and a shot at the massive $250,000 prize pool," Sony detailed. It makes sense given that PlayStation 4 was confirmed as the only console Street Fighter 5 would appear on at last year's PlayStation Experience.
