PlayStation Experience 2016: Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom gets new trailer

Almost exactly a year ago, Sony unveiled Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom at PlayStation Experience 2015. This year, the company revealed yet another trailer for the game (seen above) showcasing more of the game's story and a look at an enhanced combat engine.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch already had a somewhat open-ended combat system, but Revenant Kingdom looks like it's taking it a step further with the slicker, more freeform movement (perhaps even transitionless battles?) that you can see in the trailer. The game has been quiet much of the last year, but it's obvious that Level 5 is pouring everything they have into the game, much like they did with the original.

So we can expect an incredibly beautiful and polished JRPG to look forward to some time in 2017.
