Nintendo Direct showed off a new touchscreen matching game — think Puzzles and Dragons — coming to the Nintendo 3DS. And it uses Pokemon.
Pokemon: Battle Trozei contains every known Pokemon — over 700 — appear in the game. Once you catch a Pokemon, they become yours to use in battle. You match Pokemon on the bottom screen while the battle takes place on the top screen.
A key to successful battle is to select the Pokemon that has an advantage over the enemy you're battling. There's also co-op play that supports up to four players.
Pokemon: Battle Trozei will be releasing on the 3DS eShop on March 20, 2014.
