That's not what we were hoping for. It can take a lot for gamers to get themselves up and out of the house sometimes, but Pokemon GO seems to have accomplished this rather flawlessly since the game launched ten days ago on July 6th. Now that it's the weekend (Saturday afternoon no less), common sense would dictate that this is prime time for players to get out and catch their fill of Pocket Monsters, right?
As it turns out, this is indeed the case, as Pokemon GO's servers seem to have crashed, causing players everywhere to think twice about actually going outside.
Some users have reported that the game works for a matter of minutes before crashing again. According to official Pokemon GO Servers Twitter account, there is no timetable for when they will be back online.
Hang in there, guys. Hopefully this won't take too long.
