Prepare for the Clash of Clans update with 1 Gem resource boosting

It looks like Supercell is finished with the sneak peeks for the new Clash of Clans update, but it looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer until it's actually released.

In the meantime, to help you prepare for the update, Supercell is temporarily discounting the cost to boost your resource collectors. From now until the release of the new update, you can boost all of your resource collectors — Gold, Elixir, Dark Elixir — for 24 hours for just one gem.

Unfortunately, Supercell hasn't given us an actual date for when the update will go live, but judging by their messaging today, it looks like it will be some time next week. "Have a great weekend and boost responsibly," Supecell left off, indicating that the update won't roll out until early next week.

Whatever the case, I'll take the temporary discount for as long as possible as the new update promises tons of new — and likely expensive — units and buildings, including the new Lava Hound, level 13 Archer Towers, level 7 Barbarians and Archers, reduced Valkyrie training time, the ability to upgrade an entire row of wall pieces in just one go, and the option to upgrade level 6-plus walls with Elixir instead of Gold. While waiting for the update, also check out the new Lava Hound air unit in action.
