Earlier this year, we heard rumors that Disney would like to reboot the Indiana Jones film franchise with Chris Pratt. However, according to producer Frank Marshall, there are currently no talks about the potential of a new Indy film, or the potential of Pratt being involved.
"No, there've been no discussons on that so…" Marshall, who also happens to be married to Lucasfilm head honcho Kathleen Kennedy, responded when Slashfilm asked about the rumors surrounding Indiana Jones.
"Yeah. I mean, we've had no discussions on Indy 5 to date."
What's odd is that Marshall's quote goes at odds with what Kathleen Kennedy told Vanity Fair back in May. Though she said that no work has been done a script yet, she confirmed that a new Indiana Jones film would be made at Disney and that "we are talking about it."
So either one of them is lying, or Frank Marshall — like most men — just doesn't listen.
