Red Dead Redemption 2 was officially unveiled with a trailer in October and we've even been given details on exclusive online content for PlayStation 4 but before we head into the sequel of the much beloved original Red Dead Redemption, we're able to take a step back and enjoy the title that made us remember how great the old west was.
The original Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare are available today on PlayStation Now, the subscription service for PlayStation users. For those who may not know, Undead Nightmare was a stand-alone expansion to the original game, so if you happened to play the original and not Undead Nightmare, feel free to skip the base game… although, why would you want to?
Perhaps the best part of this news is the return of PlayStation Now's one-year subscription for $99.99. Some are still unaware that PlayStation Now has stepped up their game since it started. It's now a service similar to Netflix where your monthly (or in this case, yearly) subscription gives you access to unlimited game streaming. That's it. No renting, no timed game sessions, just pay your monthly subscription and all the titles available (Which sits around 450 currently) are right there. And if that's not enough, Sony has offered a seven-day trial which is perfect for getting back into Red Dead Redemption and seeing if the service is what you're looking for.
