Following today's PlayStation Store update, Superflat Games' psychological survival adventure, Lone Survivor: Director's Cut should be free for all PlayStation Plus members to download on PS3 and Vita. As a Cross-Buy title, you'll receive both versions of the game.
In Lone Survivor, you — a masked protagonist must escape from a city ravaged by disease. But how you choose to survive is entirely up to you.
Sneak through without firing a single shot, or kill everything in your path. Eat and sleep well, or resort to drugs to keep going. Search for survivors, or try to escape the city alone. Look after your mental health, or descend into madness. Lone Survivor is a game where your choices genuinely matter.
As a "Director's Cut," the PlayStation release includes tons of additional content not seen in the original PC version, including 20 new items, fresh NPC dialogue, two "extensive" side quests, two extra locations, a new piece of music, and a new "Yellow" ending. Trophy support was also added.
Lone Survivor: Director's Cut is just one of the many titles Sony is offering PS Plus members for free during the month of March. Last week, PlayStation Plus members were treated to Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition on PS4, and Tomb Raider on PS3. Looking ahead, we still have Thomas Was Alone (PS3/Vita), Unit 13 (Vita), and Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite (Vita).
