PS Plus reminder: Metro: Last Light free tomorrow on PS3

PlayStation 4 owners aren't the only ones getting a free game tomorrow. Tomorrow, PS3 owners will be treated to Metro: Last Light for free as long as they are a PlayStation Plus member.

Metro: Last Light was released in 2013 as a sequel to 2010's Metro 2033 (based on the novel Metro 2033 by Russian author Dmitry Glukhosvky). It's set in a post-apocalytpic Moscow, one-year after the events of Metro 2033. In terms of gameplay, it's a combination of survival horror and first-person shooter.

It is the year 2034. Beneath the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro, the remnants of mankind are besieged by deadly threats from outside – and within. Mutants stalk the catacombs beneath the desolate surface, and hunt amidst the poisoned skies above. But rather than stand united, the station-cities of the Metro are locked in a struggle for the ultimate power, a doomsday device from the military vaults of D6. A civil war is stirring that could wipe humanity from the face of the earth forever. As Artyom, burdened by guilt but driven by hope, you hold the key to our survival – the last light in our darkest hour…

While Outlast will be the only free PS4 game this month, Metro: Last Light is just one of three planned to release for the PS3. Other free PS3 games for February include PayDay 2 and Remember Me. Check out February's full PS Plus rundown here.
