Following tomorrow's PlayStation Store update — assuming it actually updates on time — PS Plus members will be able to download Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for free on PS Vita. In the game, your goal is to take down bizarre creatures and loot their bodies for crafting components so you can make even mroe powerful weapons to take down "bigger, badder monsters."
Originally released for PlayStation Portable, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is labeled as the "biggest" Monster Hunter title with over 500 hours of gameplay, 1,400 weapons, and 2,000 armor sets. The game supports four-player co-op through Ad-Hoc and even fofers an AI controlled Felyne companion for those who can't find a party of friends.
In addition to receiving Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for free, PS Plus members can also look forward to discounts on BioShock and Fez through Sony's Spring Fever Sale. Here's what's being offered:
