It may only be available on one console, but that hasn't stopped Sucker Punch's inFamous: Second Son from rising to the top of the UK sales charts. Sony's PS4 exclusive debuted at number one in the UKIE GfK Chart-Track All Formats Top 40, ahead Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Titanfall.
Although Second Son is actually the second biggest week one PS4 new release, behind Killzone: Shadow Fall (a launch title), it outperformed Konami's multiplatform title, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, which debuted at number two on the charts. Meanwhile, Microsoft's Xbox One/PC exclusive multiplayer shooter, Titanfall, slipped from the one spot to the three spot — still impressive considering it's been available since March 11. Titanfall's release helped boost Xbox One hardware sales in the UK, leading to a 96% increase in sales in the market.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, an HD-remake bundling two previously released PS2 titles, debuted at number four on the charts. Ubisoft's South Park: The Stick of Truth, released earlier this month, rounded out the top five.
