Savant Ascent, a game about "claiming ultimate power," is coming to PlayStation 4. Released for PC in December 2013, Savant Ascent is inspired by an electronic musician.
"Music and style are what the game is all about!" D-Pad Studio's Jo-Remi Madsen said. In the game, a malicious orb has cast Savant out of his tower and transformed his surroundings into enemies. You must dodge and shoot your way back up the tower, unlocking CDs that grant you new abilities and tracks to play to. While playing you can change the background music to any unlocked tracks which, in turn, will also change the gameplay.
Over on the PS Blog, Madsen discusses more about the idea and concept behind Savant Ascent. Unfortunately the beat-pumping action game doesn't yet have a release date for Sony's console.
