PlayStation 4 System Software update 1.71 has been released, but don't expect any major new features. Though Sony has yet to post the official change-log for the update, the PlayStation Twitter account did vaguely explain that update 1.71 will "improve software stability of some features."
If you already have your "automatic download" function activated, then you should have already downloaded the update. If not, then you can update manually through your PS4.
PlayStation 4's previous 1.70 update — the one that added SHAREfactory among a number of other new features — is believed to have introduced multiple minor issues with software and hardware, including problems with automatic gameplay capture. It's unclear if today's update 1.71 will fix that, but we'll let you know once the official change-log is posed.
