PS4 system update 2.03 released; here’s what it does

As expected, Sony has released new system software update, version 2.03, for the PlayStation 4. But before you get too excited, it's just another one of those stability updates.

According to the official update notes, update 2.03 improves the "operations quality during use of some applications."

The PS4's last major update, version 2.0, came in late October, and introduced a number of new features including Share Play, YouTube uploading, a USB Music Player, custom themes and more. Speaking of themes, Sony also released today the PlayStation 20th Anniversary Theme, a brand new theme for the PS4 designed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the PlayStation. It adds a gray background to the console, changes some ofthe icons, and features the original PS1 startup sound.
