PS4 update 2.0 causing ‘issues’ for some

Sony has acknowledged that the latest PlayStation 4 version 2.0 update (codenamed Masamune) is causing "issues" for some, promising that their engineers "are investigating."

Although Sony support didn't go into detail, the internet is filled with users complaining of things like the console not turning on once it enters Sleep mode; broken music player functionality, and no themes available (specifically in the UK). In some cases, users are still having problems connecting to PlayStation Network.

System software update 2.0 was released yesterday for the PS4, introducing some major new features like Share Play, YouTube integration, USB music, sorting options for your PS4 game library, and themes to change the look of your home screen.

Following the release of the update, PSN crashed and was down for much of the day. Although it now appears that the service is stable — at least in the United States (we had no problem connecting to PSN today) — some problems still appear to be lingering.

Are you experiencing any problems with PSN or your PS4 since the update?
