This seems a bit, odd.
The official Watch Dogs Twitter account sent the following out yesterday:
Hackers have attempted to infiltrate our system and post false reviews of Watch Dogs. All valid reviews will emerge at release on May 27_
— Watch Dogs (@watchdogsgame) May 18, 2014
Why would such a message be sent out? Apparently, someone got a hold of the game via a retailer breaking street date and posted a review. For what it's worth, their review scored Watch Dogs at a 7.2 out of 10 and said that it visually compares to Grand Theft Auto V. Before you ask, they were playing on an Xbox One, not an Xbox 360/PS3/Wii U.
We'll find out what the "valid reviews" say when the game's embargo lifts next week. We here at GameZone will be sure to give you the entire lowdown on Watch Dogs.
I'm not writing the review, so I'm not quite sure if it will be filled with dog puns. I sure hope it is; much anticipation, such humor, many eye rolling.
