It looks like PlayStation Network is down again, though it's unclear if it's due to maintenance or another DDoS attack by Lizard Squad.
Several users have told us about the inability to log in to PSN, reporting error codes like "NW-31201-7." When attempting to log in myself I was greeted with the message "PlayStation Network is undergoing maintenance."
However, a series of tweets from the notorious hacker group Lizard Squad indicates that it might be another attack on PSN.
HEY @Sony PICK UP THE PHONE

So Sony, I heard you like brackets, and you know what rhymes with brackets?

Seeing as how Sony postponed yesterday's scheduled maintenance as a result of Sunday's DDoS attack, I'm under the belief that this could be another hack. Currently, Sony support says PSN is online, but our readers are telling us different.
@Matt_GZ yep… Down… Again…

@Matt_GZ I still have the NW-31201-7 error code when testing my connection. I'm starting to get mad.

Sony hasn't mentioned any maintenance and the current status is that it is still postponed. We've reached out for clarification. We'll continue to monitor the situation and let you know when we learn more.
