PSN Down for Maintenance Tomorrow

Sony has announced that the PlayStation Network will be down tomorrow for maintenance. Starting at 8AM PST, online features for the PlayStation 3 will not be accessible, which is sure to ruin the lives of many. According to the post on the PlayStation Blog, maintenance is likely to run until 10PM. Ouch!

Between these lengthy hours, gamers will be denied their rights to:

  • Access the PlayStation Store on the PlayStation 3 and PSP.
  • Access their PSN account.
  • Register on PSN.

Sony did state that some users will be able to play online. Personally, this doesn't affect me at all because I hardly ever play online. I've always been a pathetic, lonely little man. *Sigh*

At least we'll still be able to earn Trophies, though. That's great news for sure. Wait … I'm not going to be able to sync the Trophies to my profile until after maintenance? So I'm not going to be able to watch my PSN level increase ever so slightly?

NOOOOOOO!

yes
