PUBG surpasses 3 million players on Xbox One

That's a lot of players.

Despite reports of poor performance on the Xbox One, PlayerUnknown’s Battleground has surpassed three million players on Xbox. At the moment, PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG) is an early access game, but that hasn’t stopped countless Xbox One owners from playing it.

In just a month, has gone from being the fourth most played Xbox One game to seeing over three million players. With so many players, the team at PUBG Corp. has been hard at work bringing quality of life improving updates to the game, as well as new features.

The most recent updates have brought first-person support for solo, duo, and squads gameplay and they are “just getting started.” There are plenty of updates planned for the game, including additional game optimization and the new Miramar map. PUBG has seen around four updates since its launch, which amounts to about one update per week.

As far as support goes, the developers are putting quite a bit of effort into making PUBG’s Xbox One experience as good as they can.

Also hitting the three million mark is the PC version of the game, which recently broke a record on Steam for having over three million concurrent players.
