Indigo Prophecy is something of a trailblazer in the realms of game design. While we look at games like Telltale's yearly releases or Until Dawn as the leaders in narratively driven adventure games, none of them would be as prevalent as they are without the help of Indigo Prophecy, which laid the modern foundations for the genre all the way back in 2002. The game went on to win over 50 different accolades for Best Adventure Game, Best Story, and Best Original Score that year and has stayed relevant in the eyes of retro game enthusiasts.
After Quantic Dream announced that they had delayed the release of the remastered version of the game last month, the developers announced on the PlayStation Blog that the game will release in just a few short days on August 9th, 2016 for the PlayStation 4.
The remastered version comes packed with the original game and a set of trophies, though no official retail price has been revealed. However, given the fact that the Steam version costs $9.99, it's probably a safe bet that the PS4 version will be the same.
