Rainbow Mika to return in Street Fighter 5

R. Mika, or Rainbow Mika, will be playable in Street Fighter 5, Capcom announced today. Mika’s return marks her first appearance since Street Fighter Alpha 3, an arcade installment released in 1998.

Owing to her background as a professional wrestler, Mika is a close-range fighter specializing in grabs and aerial attacks. Her move set is somewhat similar to Zangief, who, Capcom said in a statement, Mika idolizes. Her V-Trigger utilizes her wrestling partner Nadeshiko, who can be called in for grab combos and surprise approaches.

Mika joins newcomer Necalli, the flamboyant Vega, and returning fighter Ken on Street Fighter 5’s ever-growing roster. There will be 16 total characters at launch, with more on the way.

Street Fighter 5 will launch on PS4 and PC in March 2016. There are currently no plans for an Xbox version.
