Rainbow Six Vegas, a $2.99 game, available for free through Microsoft’s Games With Gold

The next game available to download for free through Microsoft's Games with Gold promotion via Xbox Marketplace is Rainbow Six Vegas. The squad-based shooter from 2006 is the second game of September's two free games, replacing Magic: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 for Xbox Live Gold members.

Now, I used to play the hell out of Rainbow Six Vegas, but I tried playing it agian earlier this year and it just wasn't the same. It was a great game for its time, but its time was seven years ago. I can still enjoy it, but its controls, mechanics and visuals are just so dated now. And if this game is the perk that Microsoft is offering Gold members, they need to try a little harder, because if I really wanted to play Vegas, I could get it at GameStop for $2.99.
