Rayman Legends demo dated for Xbox 360 and PS3

The demo for Ubisoft's highly anticipated platformer Rayman Legends will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players on August 20 in North America (August 14 in EMEA).

The demo will consist of three different levels and a preview of the competitive Invasion Mode. The playable maps include Teensies in Trouble and Toad Story, along with their Invasion Mode counterpart level, as well as musical map Castle Rock. Addtiionally, the demo will include access to the Gallery of Heroes where you can swap your character's costumes.

Rayman Legends was originally announced as a Wii U exclusive but was delayed and brought over to the Xbox 360 and PS3 (and also PC and Vita) over fears that the game may not perform up to level as a Wii U-only title. Now it's due out on September 3 in North America for all of the said systems.
