Rayman Legends Wii U release delayed in Europe

Rayman Legends is already considered a "launch window" title for the Wii U here in the United States, but fans overseas were expecting it as a launch day title. Rather then releasing on November 30, alongside the launch of the Wii U console, Rayman Legends is now expected sometime in "the first quarter of 2013" for those in the UK.

"We're happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations," Ubisoft said in a statement. "We'll have more details to share soon."

Although I'm sure fans are disappointed with the news as Rayman Legends looked to be one of the console's best launch games, Ubisoft'sĀ other Wii U game, ZombiU, is still expected to release on November 30. And from what we've seen, ZombiU looks just as promising.
