Gaming peripheral company Razer announced yesterday the Razer Leviathan — a gaming and music sound bar that offers 5.1 channel Dolby surround sound, Bluetooth 4.0 for music streaming, and a dedicated subwoofer for deep bass.
Razer has engineered the Leviathan for versatility, so it can fit in any living room setup or under any desktop monitor (which is exactly where I would use it).
The sound bar features four drivers (two 2.5-inch full-range drivers and two .74-inch tweeters) optimized for surround sound gaming. Dolby Digital converts audio from a sound card, console or set-top box into a virtual surround sound stage. The Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX technology has a connection range of up to 10 meters, and the Leviathan also remembers recently paired devices.
